The 1994 Alaska Milkmen season was the 9th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Championship (Finals Appearance)
Alaska Milk made it to the Finals twice during the 1994 PBA season, winning the Governor's Cup title at the expense of Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdogs. see:1994 PBA Governors Cup Finals
Season Summary
- After a disappointing finish last year, the Alaska Milkmen serve notice in its serious bid to win a title by going undefeated in Pre-Season games, Alaska won their first game over Shell, 119-95 in the nightcap of the PBA's opening double-header on March 6. the Milkmen settled for third place trophy in the All-Filipino tournament.
- In the Commissioners Cup, Alaska had its best performance so far in years during the elimination round, with Marques Bragg as their import, Alaska top both eliminations and the semifinals with 9-2 and 14-5 slates, In their first finals appearance with sophomore Johnny Abarrientos as their main point guard, Alaska lost to the more experience Purefoods TJ Hotdogs, led by Best Import Ken Redfield, 4 games to 1 in the best-of-seven finals.
- With Sean Chambers failing to lead Alaska to the semifinals the past two Third Conferences, the Milkmen opted for a new reinforcement Sean Gay during the Governor's Cup, but after three games, Alaska recalled back their resident import Sean Chambers, and Chambers responded by leading Alaska to the finals, eventually winning the crown over Swift in six games, Alaska's second championship after three years.
